Customer reviews.I have never played the previous versions of this game so i can honestly tell you that this game is very fun despite those critics who expected alot of extras in the ps3 version. The level design is fun, the characters are lovable and graphics are fantastic.
How good can graphics get when u have blocky lego characters? Just look at the scenery. It looks great in HD especially the area with the shiny marble floors. This is a thinking persons game rather than one who needs cat-like reflexes to beat the enemies. With virtually no defense, you will die plenty of times but you wont throw your controller in disgust because you respawn right where you left off.
The storyline is great. It basically follows the storyline of the movie. I highly recommend this game to anyone who has never played it b efore whether a starwars fan or not. Great gameplay is universal. I've loved this game ever since I put it in my wii when it came out.
The gameplay is great and simplistic, but keeps you wanting to play it ever way after you finish it.
It just sucks you in and gives you the desire to finish every last bit of it from getting all the characters, minikits, gold bricks, and getting True Jedi on all the levels. I can always look back on this game with fond memories and look forward to new ones all the time. This game is great! You travel through the 6 Star Wars movies playing as a huge selection of characters and everything is made of lego bricks.
It has great replay value with the "Free Play" mode, where once you have finished a level in "Story" mode, you can go back and play as various other characters who may not have been available in the "Story" mode, each having different abilities which may be useful to unlock new areas or finish objectives. The only thing I disliked was that the controls for vehicles defaulted to the six-axis "motion" control feature meaning you needed to tip the controller in the direction you wanted to go and the joystick did nothing.
You can turn this off, but it took me a few levels of wondering if there was a glitch before I realized that was what you were supposed to do and that it could be turned off. A simple pop up text box the first time you try to drive a vehicle would have fixed this.
And once I figured it out, it was fine. This really is a fun game for the whole family, my 3 year old daughter loves playing it with me and even though she is obviously a game novice, she does alright and has a great time.
Don't let the "lego" thing fool you though, this is a great game for "real" Star Wars fans too, it;s not just geared for kids. There are loads of humorous mini-movies taken right from the source material, but with humorous changes that sometimes utilize the idea that the universe is made out of lego bricks! Overall, this is a must have for anyone, its great if you just want to play for a few minutes to try to complete one objective, or if you just want to goof off and ignore the objectives, there are scads of places to explore and things to find.
I also highly recommend the other "lego" games as they are all the same platform and play style. No scratches, game runs fine. Had a blast playing the original Lego Star Wars on PlayStation 2 as a lad, got this game to relive those memories. Lego Star Wars is a good game, filled with humor based on the scenes from the original series.
Also the two player option helps to make this game even more interesting. The game soundtrack follows the well known musics form star wars movies and the graphics are decent for its objectives lego-like caracters.
The game play is good and the option to control other caracters during the game is also interesting as you can use their unique abities to solve problems found in the way. Condition is Brand New.Best price I could find, kids love this game.

Weird Anime Isn't WeirdLego Star Wars I and II are back, and this time they are together in one compilation for all next generation consoles. That means all the old fun has not only been visually revamped, but there is a smattering of additional content and a seamless online multiplayer component that takes the famed cooperative gameplay to the next level.
If you have never played these games, you're in for a real treat. There is an unreal amount of content for you to explore and enjoy. If you think you'll be fully satisfied by picking up the original titles used, know that Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is the definitive edition with a great online component that is well worth the extra money. If you have played both games through on the last generation consoles don't expect to be surprised, but know that there is a lot of upgraded content, including online play, for you to romp through.
Additionally, the first title in the series has been reworked to function as smoothly as the second. Finally, having all of that beloved content on one HD disc is the perfect upgrade to your overflowing game library. For those of you who have not experienced the LSW series, gameplay is defined by an expansive platformer that is true to both the Star Wars universe and the world of Lego.
The combination of the two genres along with amazing authenticity makes the game very fun for all ages. The game is riddled with co-op puzzles and hidden passageways that will challenge youngsters and adults alike. This compilation truly has something for everyone. For everyone else, it is a great way to enjoy your favorite space odyssey. Cooperative play defines the games. As such, the games really should be enjoyed with someone else.
Furthermore, the drop in and drop out function makes the game feel like your favorite multiplayer standup arcade. If you aren't so fortunate to be able to share the title, then know that the ability to switch from one player character to another is extremely easy and won't bog you down. Some games that have you constantly switching between characters with different abilities can become quite tedious.
This is not the case with the Lego Star Wars games. Additionally, if you truly are a recluse you can get all of the joy out of co-op play by heading online and hosting a game, playing with a friend or getting matched to someone else. The online features work flawlessly with both titles and will have you dropping in and out of games in order to help others best the Sith menace.
There is one frustrating and completely tedious feature to gameplay, however. The monetary system in LSW has you collect silver, gold, or blue studs in order to earn spendable credits in the Mos Eisley cantina. The thing that is so annoying is that they scatter everywhere after destroying chairs or bashing battle droids, and you have to run around in circles trying to collect them all.
You would think that they would make studs easy to collect for a greedy Jedi by creating a skill called "force collection. Fortunately, studs are by no means essential to finishing the stories.
